A stage actor since the age of 12, Eisenberg earned acclaim for Roger Dodger, The Squid and the Whale, Adventureland, and Zombieland before his Academy Award–nominated portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network confirmed him as one of the leading actors of his generation, with credits since including the Now You See Me franchise, The End of the Tour, and FX’s Fleishman Is in Trouble. Also an accomplished playwright and regular contributor to The New Yorker, he made his directorial debut with When You Finish Saving the World before writing and directing A Real Pain - winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award and the BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay, and earned Eisenberg an Academy Award nomination in the same category. The festival is honoured to host him for this Screen Talk, in celebration of a career spanning stage, screen, and page.
